could we see the drake? i know the whiners will complain about the graphics if they're not done, but those people have been bitching already not realizng they're the reason game companies don't like to show early previews...

Very nice. I really digg that artstyle.

Please show us a picture of the drake in action. It doesn't matter that other people won't like it, they'll whine anyway. But us Elemental addicted need something to tie us over this cold winter nights.

Also, someone keeps mis-spelling "cavalry". Right-most medallion in the top row (the guy riding the horse) is named "calvary". I blame MITTENS.

My only complaint is there are not already medallions of bear cavalry or sky sharks.

I don't think that quite cuts it.  Thats like saying that there are skies and thats where skysharks live.  But I guess the thought is what counts.

Thumbs up on the art from me too!  I can't recall anything else on the PC that looks like it, which is a very good thing.  With a limited budget and a desire to go 3D, most TBS devs are satisfied with last-gen graphics.  I'm glad to see Stardock thinking outside the box to make Elemental stylized and somehow modern. 

I approve of this art style.

Should be interesting to see the graphics engine at its completion and in motion... though graphics are the least of my interests relative to this game. =D

Amen to that. I played Star Wars Rebellion for so long. It had really basic graphics. A good game doesn't absolutly need nice graphics. Many companies try to hide a bad game behind beautiful graphics and this behavior sucks!

I really love also the art style. That's really interesting and one of the reason behind this is great (old computers being able to run de game smoothly). Thanks Stardock again, great job and damn I'm eager to play my first game.

The art style seems just right for the game. Especially the Mucha influences are really cool. The images shouldn't be too fluid though. I love the knight on horseback. Please add a similar knight on griffon-back too!

As long as i keep enough to be alive and being able to properly play the game, that's fine.

And although i saw it the same day this thread was up, no one has mentioned the "Foot_Solders" yet.
