Not that its a big deal BUT ...
While looking at my Metaverse profile i noticed that when the cursor is over the Alterian the label says Acean. And when you move over the Arcean, it says Alterian.
I then noticed while looking at someone else's profile that the played nothing but ALterian and yet their "favorite race" listed as Acrean.
Weeeeird.
Ah, weird. The word that I realized last year I had been spelling wrong for God knows how long. Since I was amazing at spelling when I was younger, this was especially shocking. Then I had an epiphany: The "I before E" rule had steered me wrong in my lifetime more than it had steered me right. I remember being 10 or so and spelling Chief "Cheif" because "it was after C." Which raises the question, when does the after C part of the rule apply. Well, obviously, Science. Wait, no, nevermind. Um... (it turns out it applies in words like "ceiling" and "receive," but I use science and its derivatives (omniscient, conscience, etc.) more than I use those words). There are so many exceptions to the I before E rule, but its rammed into the heads of our children. The American educational system at work.
Do you think someone should raise the subject before a moderator or something? if theirs been a minor glitch then wouldn't they appreciate this been discovered? From previous knowledge with computer programing it would be a very simple task to fix if you understand the basic principles of the language used. might do some good to inform them.
oh by the way, I never learned about the 'E' rule. Thanx for that.
The mods are always trolling the forums, so here is a good place to let them know. This has been a known issue for some time, but I think they consider it too minor to spend time fixing. That's my impression at least.
