1.1 Released, So what does everyone Think? Im having a Wonderful Time, but miss the mods

After just an afternoon of playing with the new 1.1 release there is alot to like, the mini-screen is very helpful, the graphics and sound bytes and new fighters/bombers look very polished, so i wanted to ask what everyone thinks?

My only regret, and it is small is that the old mods dont work. But i will re-make them, or download some new ones when the community gets it modding legs back underneath them with the new tools and new file formats.  :)

Major Stress, looking at my install folders, I don't see new folders inside the Particle section. It's all as before... did you download your copy of SoaSE or get a boxed copy? The game says I'm updated to 1.1 and everything seems to be working fine so I'm a bit puzzled by this.

These folders came from the 1.1 forge tools reference files. I assumed since the folders were there they should be in the mod as well. It worked so i guess the game will find particle files despite being in separate folders inside the particles folder.

Oh... has anyone noticed the lightening in the plasma storms yet?  It is way cool!!  To be honest, as much as i have dearly loved HomeWorld and HomeWorld 2, i think that Sins has outdone them. It is a beautiful update, with lots of touches here and there that make it awesome!! Anyway, there is probably more i haven't seen yet, but it is very very nice. Makes me think the Entrenchment expansion coming is going to be very very nice indeed.  :)

It is true that v1.1 changes a lot but all mods will adapt and I'm sure this transition time will be over ASAP! And we'll be able to get back to fighting with Entreprise vs. Vasari re al soon :D
