Stardock is excited to announce the third MyColors skin available FREE to Object Desktop subscribers.  Encounter is an alien-inspired skin with a smooth and sleek design, perfect for your Windows XP or Vista desktop.  This skin is truly, “out of this world”.

The Encounter MyColors skin includes a new visual style that features a really cool animated start menu, matching icon pack, wallpaper, and weather gadget. 

If you are not an Object Desktop subscriber, you can become one by visiting www.objectdesktop.com.  The Encounter MyColors theme is available to non-subscribers as well for $19.95. 

Note: The mailer indicated that the Encounter skin will be available to WinCustomize subscribers as well.  This is incorrect, and the theme is only available to current Object Desktop subscribers.  News about the next WC subscriber skin will be coming soon.

If you have Impulse, look and it will be there if you have a Object Desktop subscription. Download and install through Impulse, and it will show up in MyColors.

I just received the email notification about ten minutes ago. The download still would not show up so I restarted and then launched Impulse. Once it logged in the MyColors theme was there. Thanks guys.

Encounter should show up for download in Impulse.  If it isn't there now, check later as all the accounts might not have been updated yet.

I'm an OD subscriber and received the email but it is not showing up as an option to download in Impulse for me. I checked first thing this morning when I got the email and then again tonight and it still isn't there. So sad... (:(

At the top of WC go to Settings and then click Registrations, copy the serial for the Mycolors Encounter suite and open up MyColors and click Add Registration, make sure you use the email tied to your ObjectDesktop account.

Yep. I tried switching servers (clicking on the blue Stardock icon on the top left), then I tried to "check for updates" and I have restarted Impulse about 3 times now throughout the day. Still no luck. I checked my registrations and it shows Object Desktop Ultimate (along with all my other purchased Stardock software) and the expiry date is Dec 19, 2008. Guess I'm going to have to renew soon but it should still be working at the moment.

Awesome! Thanks Steve! That worked. Funny thing is that the serial number I copied and pasted in there was exactly the same as the one already there! I just re-entered it and presto... it showed up! Thanks again!
