HELP - Unload Active Debugger in Memory

I was able to play the demo fine, but when I bought the full game, downloaded/installed it, and tryed to open it up I got an error message stating I needed to unload the active debugger from memory for the game to run. I am running Win XP Home. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks.
