I guess they are not quite of the quality to make it to the wallpaper section but good enough to go to your galley instead of being exiled.
This questions is asked by all skinners at times but more so when they frist start out.
I visited you gallery library and will say they are not bad wallpapers. What you maybe coming up against is other wallpapers submitted at the same time you submitted just had that something special goin on with them.
Now I'm not a skinner, no talent what so ever. Usually what I see as comments when this question is asked is "Don't lose sight of the reason you started skinning, it was for your own enjoyment." Another comment is "With time and more skins being done your talent and skill with improve and be noticed."
I know that isn't the response you were looking for but hang in there, the community is always looking for new skinners to support. 
As one with a smallish bit of experience with the 'not quite right' end of the stick I'd suggest you just accept it as a learning experience and move on to your next attempt. I try to remember, when it comes to those that judge our submissions, that 'not every blossom is a rose' (IOW, beauty is in the eye of the beholder) and try to be a little more self-critical when I render my next potential submission. Also, I delete the rejected image from my personal site (since very few are likely to ever see it any way) to save on server space at WC.
But don't get discouraged 'cuz, from what I've heard, it happens to even the best of skinners (though I certainly don't put myself in that catagory) from time to time...
Mine got knocked back saying they don't accept movie wallpapers, then why is there a section for it
, plus mine was my own work, scanned pics and photoshop, not a copy 'n paste of actors.. this wrecks my entire theme I was working on as the wall is the b/ground, without the wall available, I may as well delete all the related widgets.
I thought subscription allowed you to as 'least' display it in your gallery.. but I'm on auto-delete.. so it would seem.
try submitting again and tick the 'to my personal page' box....then....in your widget descriptions.....just link back to your wall in your personal gallery for them to pick it up there.....better than deleting your related widgets...
It's been deleted twice sydney, the second time I never even got an email.. just an instant delete.

try again....this time...tick the box....and perhaps even write in the description for the mods...."to personal page only"....(you can always delete that afterwards if you want)....unless there is any particular copyright problem with it.....it should be given 1 star and go to your personal page...

plus I know they have a lot of walls taking up space on the server, so I understand 
Tailsgirl...You can always create a deviantArt page and upload your wall there and link to it in your wiget description here. DA is part of the community and there's no worries about it being rejected since there is no moderation there that I can see.
I'm not sure if space is an issue more than copyright problems with Wincustomize. Fan art is one thing but it sounds as it your images may be scanned artwork created by someone else which is a no go at WC without permission from the original artist.
perhaps not for redistribution though...... 
Jafo is the best person to talk to about this tg....send it to him...he'll set you straight on the rules....it always seems to have been a somewhat confusing area....fan art...
and yeah...DA is a bit confusing at first.. bit like going from the friendly corner store....to Walmat....it's all still there....just takes an age to find it all..... I tend to stick to WC too....

I did what you suggested sydney, the personal page thingy, and added a note to the Mods, man I hope they don't hate me for it

then perhaps ask jafo for some clarification to help you in future....you're not the only one to be confused by the copyright/fan art issues...

There seems to be an issue from what I see in uploading again.,someone else has brought it to my attention earlier that one of their skins tho stating the upload was accepted, it is no where to be found. It do not show in the mod que either.
Your wall probably has met the same fate..
I can assure you there is no conspiracy. But being the uploads were down for almost 2 weeks and we just got them working monday. I will wager its a site issue again.
I go for a snooze..(think I'm getting the flu....

tg...you've had a really stressful day...with the break in and everything....it does rattle you...and I know you were upset at the dramatic End of WC post....which is not the end of the world....and not the end of WC....
just gotta calm down kiddo.....there are often hiccups with uploading....I had a boot disappear from moderation queue a while ago...had two in the queue..one disappeared....left it a bit...and they both went thru....just little glitches. There may well have been copyright issues with your wall....I had one submission refused with similar issues before Christmas. It happens...you move on and make something else. As was suggested...you could have done the DA thing if it was so integral to the theme you were working on.
In the short time you've been here...you've made lots of friends....and had lots of fun....and contributed to the community in forums and galleries......just look at your karma.....meteoric...
You certainly wouldn't be the first one to have had an overwhelming day....throw in the towel....and come back when things have calmed down for you. It certainly sounds like your life has been somewhat chaotic for you for awhile...and you had established fast friendships here with people happy to help you...cheer you up a bit.

Quite regularly, since day One of Wincustomize, there have been occasions when uploading fails. Generally it's a database/server issue, and whatever the reason it is soon rectified.
The first course of action if/when an upload disappears is to query/check there is no current bug/anomaly.
Second course is to contact a Moderator/Admin via email or PM to check if there is a specific 'issue' with the submission.
Third course if the first two don't pan out is to contact myself and/or Island Dog for suitable mediation/resolution.
[note that none of these steps includes 'presume prejudicial discrimination and contemplate tantrums']
As commented....yours truly has been 'mediating' a long time...and mostly gets it right-enough re issues of copyright...;)

All this drama over wallpapers? Lets remember WinCustomize is a moderated site, it always has been and most likely will always be. Wallpapers are exiled only if they are rips, contain questionable content, etc. Otherwise, if they are not approved for the public gallery they will be sent to your personal page.
As Jafo said, if you would like to address why a wallpaper was moved to PP then please feel free to contact us. We would be more than happy to give advice and help.
When it comes to "fan art" and things of that sort, it's always a sketchy area because it depends on how the skin was created. Most times these are all dealt on an individual basis.
I am probabally treading where I shouldn't tread here but I just had to say something. Due to the very rude comment in post 20 "PS.. I wish I was dead.,, and To ID and Zubaz, you think you're so far above everyone, I am not a piece of shit, I'm a fucking person with feelings!", I am truly amazed that the Moderators dignified this with a response, let alone a kind but stern response. I think this speaks volumes for the maturity of the folks that help make this a great place tp spend my time and effort. Having been a Supervisor for the last 16 years, I have heard most all and know that hateful words spoken in haste are very hard to rectify. One should not burn their bridges as they may want to cross over them again someday. I think Tailsgirl made a "tail " of hereself and the matter was handled with dignity by the Mods and I just wanted to tell them that I think they did great. Maybe an apology is in order! Thats about it.
