default folder icons missing after uninstall

I uninstalled the quest theme and went back to vistas default. Rebooted as asked. Then I deleted mycolors program.

After a reboot all my folders are missing icons. Just showing the default place holder icon like the one used for a shortcut to a missing app. I went into folder options and click on set all icons to default but still no folder icons. Its like the original ones are gone.

How do I get them back?
