Set Folder Contents as Docks

Making the contents of a folder automaticially become docks

Hi there, question if anyone could help me out please.

I'm new to ObjectDock, so I'm still learning the ropes. What I would like to do is that the contents of one folder automaticially become docks. So, for example, anything placed in my documents folder will appear on the dock.

Is this possible? I couldn't find any settings to do so. Any help is apprieated, thanks. ^_^

I have been using ObjectDock for quite a while and have never seen what we call a "docklet" created for that purpose.  I know it is not a default setting or capability in OD itself, but there is an enormous amount of very creative users that write there own code to achieve their needs.  Search deviantart.com and wincustomize.com under "docklet" sections and ask some of the guys that created the docklets if they could write something like that.  If you don't mind me asking why would you need that ability.  Is it too hard to just create your own shortcuts?  You can drag and drop anything you want onto the dock and it will create a shortcut.  That should be sufficient for your needs if I understand your post correctly.  Good Luck.

You can do that with the stacks docklet (google it) or the Custom Flyout docklet (it's included with OD).

You can also do it with a simple shortcut, jus set it to "Show folder in menu"

@ inanimateone: Well, okay, I'll say my idea may sound a bit stupid, but, as most people on Wincustomize and DeviantArt, we all have these awesome wallpapers and don't want anyone covering them. So, my idea was that anything I was to save on my desktop, would end up on the docklet. And that I'd set my desktop to hide all the icons. Yeah I know, a bit stupid, but it just suits me. ^_^

@ Zubaz: Thanks man, I'll go google it right now and let ya know. :)

You need this: http://labs.stardock.com/Fences/

Double-clicking the desktop hids all icons (in addition to everything else it does)
