Palin's conversation with Sarkozy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kN3KUXWppNs

Sarah Palin recently have been called by Nicolas Sarkozy, and had an interesting conversation with him. Acknowledging the following facts:

- You can see Belgium from the Champs Elyses

- Quebec's Prime Minister is Richard Z. Sirois

- Johnny Hallyday is a political advisor

- Going hunting in an helicopter, to go and take some lifes for fun!

- With Dick Cheney

- Stef Carse is Canada's Prime Minister

- Nailing Palin is a documentary on her life

Off course, why would le President Francais & the President of the European Union would take the time to call her is everybody's guess.

Anyway, hilarious event. Except for those rooting for Palin off course, which I expect to backlash quite hard against French and Canadiens :D

On the other hand, now that she has been pranked by French-Canadiens, I guess she doubled her foreign policy experience... ;)

They played the joke on the radio this morning.  It was amusing to hear their prejudices coming through, and the silence that met many of their comments.

SO that makes her now twice as knowledgeable as Obama.

What do you mean? The Radio Host, or the Pranker? (wait, pranker or prankster?)

EDIT: By the way, I don't care wether she has been pranked or not. Everybody can be pranked. But I really care about her total lack of knowledge about foreign policy information points, and specially her attitude while discussing with a head of state!!!

In the clip I heard, she did no such thing. In fact whenever one of those things was mentioned, it was usually met with a sort of 'hmm' or 'ok' comment. Let's face it, if you think you're talking to the French president, and think he says something incorrect but that he is likely to know more about than you, you're unlikely to start an argument. In fact if you want his support you're unlikely to start an argument regardless of whether you disagree or not. Palin needed to have responded much more to such comments, like 'yeah I can remember when I was there and saw Belgium', or 'I was talking to Sirois the other day' or something to support the arguments you're making.

I thought they agried they wouldn't go with Cheney (since 'Sarkozy' didn't want to get shot)?

Anyway it was mildly amusing, but doesn't come even close to proving the points you claim.

So where's the interview with Obama and Sarkozy?  Perhaps before yelling ignorance, one would need to evaluate both parties.  As it is, I am still trying to find those other 10 states that Obama claims we have.  And that is Domestic!

I think Obama's campaign is slightly more clever than Palin's, and managed to filter out calls.

Actually, I wasn't trying to prove those points. It's just that I found these jokes hilarious..

But come on, she was totally oblivious that it was a prank until the end. Even when they mentioned "nailing palin", she didn't answered back. I'd expect a potential head of state to actually refute that a porn movie is a documentary on her life!

No, only that no one tried.  Besides, who needs to spoof Biden?  His mouth does that on its own.

Obama's decision to grab Biden was a good one in one respect.  Half the country (those not voting for Obama/Biden) are going to be protecting his life with their own!  If you think Palin is a joke, think of a Biden presidency.  He is the joke!

Why do you say that? Between a Palin presidency and a Biden presidency, I'll take the Biden presidency anyday. Palin just is way out of her league.

Gotta love America (even if the perps were Canucks), where JerkyBoy pranks are taken as serious political issues.

Actually, they are French-Canadiens. Don't qualify as Canucks :typo:

And Biden is not?  Please!  Palin is a genius in comparison.  Biden is just a bumbling (perhaps senile) fool.  Who cant string 2 sentences together without at least one gaff.

It is apparent that a lot of the rest of the world hates Palin, just as they hate Bush, but they really dont know why they do other than she is conservative, and that appears to be an anathema until some nut case drops a bomb on one of their cities (or uses the city for their army's vacation spot).

Forgive him.  He knows not about Quebecois.;)

I thought all was harmony, peace & love in Canada, a heaven on earth where there is no ethnic discrimination or want for any human desire.  I'm crushed.

Yea, but everyone cannot live in East Gwandaland. ;)

Yup. Or, simpler solution, let me quote Quebec's greatest comedian (and one of our central cultural icon), Yvons Deschamps:

"If intorelance is the source of all the trouble in the world, the solution is simple! The intolerance, let's not tolerate it anymore! We have to kill them all!"
