Fences expiration?

My copy of Fences still shows a message in the About area which says it will expire on 11/1/2008.  That's not very far away now.  Is it still going to expire then?  Will we get an update?  Pretty please?

Fences will be released via Impulse as a free download. This is likely to happen next week or so, but that is not a definitive date.

I just got an email along those lines as well from someone appearing to be the author.  He has some ideas on new features at this point, but I won't steal his thunder by spilling the beans.  According to him though, disaster will be averted.  :+)
