Where's TOA 2.0 ?

You DO know that 1.99RC is out in beta, right?  It is almost 2.0.  Everybody is finding bugs so I assume 2.0 will be out once a few of the big buggers are squashed.

I remember one of the devs (well I think they were) saying something about needing a 1.99 version 2 because of all the stuff we have found so I dont expect them to keep the October date.

Unlike other software/game houses out there, Stardock does their best to release the game/patch when it's finished.  It may take until January for 2.0 to come out if it's deemed so.

The last update I got weas from the Dev board and from Frogboy. The target is now November 5th.

It might be longer but it's going to work when it comes out.  We have a right to a completed product and that means a bit more time. Fine by me.

Where do I find v1.99 patch? What is Beta anyway? I don't think I have Beta. How do you know if you have it?

You have to use Impulse to get the 2.0 beta. 1.99 is the version number of the beta--when it is formally released, 2.0 will be availble on Stardock Central as well.

I don't know the Impulse UI, but the startup screen of the game shows the version number at the bottom (left corner?).

I read in a thread, Nove 5 is the v2.0 update if there is no problems.

How did you make your  medals  appear under your post? Is it auto when I play so many games or something else? What karma anyway? How do I earn it? Yes, I know alot of NewBie questions.

I forget the exact UI wording, but you just need to edit the Metaverse character you want to use to show your medals. I only have the one character, so I'm not sure how the UI appears when you have more. The medals change slowly as you post more MV games. This thread has a bunch of talk about the medals, starting with some basics about how you earn them.

Karma is a Stardock forums thing, not necessarily directly related to GC2. You can click the little thumbs-up button to open a pop-up that lets you give "karma" to a post you appreciate, and enter a brief explanation about why. As to "earning" the site karma, it is more or less a fusion of popularity contest and performance rating. Some people seem to give karma because they just found a post fun to read or they are on some empire-related bandwagon, others give karma when they see good answers to their game questions, and others do both.

I am always learning and that is a good thing.

What can I do to earn just one Karma because it would look better if I had one than zero.

What are performance ratings?

That probably sounded more official than I meant it to be. I'm talking about the karma points you can get by providing a clear, useful answer to someone's question or posting something informative that helps another player who just happens to read it.

Just started a Tough Game so I can build up more points for my Empire Adepta Sororitas which rank 71 

I have some info to share about options-interface-under ship designer-clear components on ships (on or off) It's not there but copy paste the command to turn it off.
