ObjectDock has stopped working

As soon as I open objectdock the windows error message pops up "ObjectDock Has stopped working" immediately.  I'm running 64bit Vista Home Premium with SP1. I have downloaded the trial version multiple times and no matter what it does the same thing.  I'm not going to pay for Plus if the trial doesnt even work.

I'm guessing you have an Acer laptop? There's a problem with objectdock and the dataprotection stuff preloaded on Acer laptops.

What I did for Acer laptops was to disable those.

1. Run as admin, you'll need to change some files

2. Go to:

My Computer--> C: --> Acer --> Empowering Technology --> eDataSecurity --> x64

--> x86

Go into both folders and find the PSDProtect.dll file, rename them noPSDProtect.dll and that should solve you problems.

hey hot_jam,

I had the same problem with mistermorich, followed your advise and i got ObjectDock Plus to work just fine, you are the man!

But then, I would like to ask, by renaming the file to noPSDProtect.dll, would it cause any program to stop working?
