"Search Docklet Failed" Message after installing Google Desktop

Hi.  I am running OD Plus on Vista.  Everything was working great.  However, I recently installed Google Desktop on my computer and it starts when Windows starts.  But ever since I loaded it, i get an error message on my OD Search gadget.  It says "Search Docklet Load Failed.  Please Check your installation."  I uninstalled the OD program, restarted, re-installed it and it still gives me that error message.  I miss running Google search from the OD bar.  Any advice?  Is OD Plus incompatible with Google Desktop?  If so, is there a work around because I would like to run both progrrams.
