How did you come up with that name?

As some here know, I am a bit of a gamer. My passion? Call of Duty 4, I am addicted to this game. I use to spend many hours a day playing this game but have cut back to a couple of hours a day :)

Lately, I couldnt help but notice some of the more interesting names I came across while playing on a particular server. I just found them quite funny considering the type of game we were playing (a war game) and how they, themselves were playing. Here's what I mean:

Maggots - Now this guy considered himself dead before he even started playing. Defeats the whole purpose of the game, survival.

Blade - Leave it to this guy to bring a knife to a gun fight.

KILLER - Considering I was one of the people who saw his name flash on my screen as "you killed KILLER" quite often, maybe he should reconsider a name change to KILLED.

BlackOut - Now here's another name that was seen with more deaths than kills so blackouts was probably what he saw most.

Rambo - Wrong game dude, this is a multi-player team game not a one man army game.

I even had the pleasure of killing George Bush, Bill Clinton and Bill Gates a few times.

There are many more names out there but these are the one I got off the top of my head. How do these people come up with these names? :D

My son and I love COD4...I've had it for months, and it never seems to lose its playability!

For his birthday, my son wanted (and received) a PS3 and COD4. He wants the screen name, "Cereal Killer."

I would feel bad for all the Captain Crunch, Tony the Tiger and Fred Flintston players out there. XD

I call myself BraveStarr and for good reasons.

I saw "unfriendly Fire" the other day and one I do notice a lot is the word sniper, the problem is in most cases, theres nothing sniper about them. LOL.

Hmm, I get all the other ones (which I like) but not sure about this one.

Names I commonly use in network games:

Waco Kid (Quake, Doom etc.)

- because Waco Kid is fast

Leauki (undefined)

- because Leauki

Admiral Ishkov (tactics games like StarCraft)

- derives from some Russian name used for one of the characters in the Alpha Centauri scenario for Civilisation II, the name was longer though; I use it in StarCraft a lot

James Tiberius (strategy games, Alpha Centari, Colonisation etc.)

- from the name I used in BBS and ultimately from "James Tiberius Kirk"; plus it worked well with "Jamestown" in Colonisation and makes for a great "Tiberius City" as my headquarters

asdasdasdasd (Internet Flash games)

- this is also statistically the most common reason for Windows Server 2003 reboots
