Oy! the Jewish Yikes!

Good Morning All,

Yesterday I heard about crazed members of McCain audience's calling Obama a Muslim, a terrorist, and someone I understand yelled "kill him!" Today I read of Hindus attacking and killing Christians in a province in India. And I have read here at JU articles which denounce the teaching of tolerance.

When we do not accept truth in a variety of forms what we are left with is a tinderbox waiting for the right conditions, usually an economic crisis, to go ablazing.

Accept plurality, support and encourage diversity, and the world becomes a wonderful bouquet. Monoliths, even loving ones, are still monoliths, and in so being, are by definition, ugly.
