Exactly How Much Do You Agree With Obama on the Issues?

Take A Test and See for Yourself

http://barackobamatest.com/?fuseaction=home.options

For those who are gung-ho about Obama I'd like to challange you to a little test.  Do you really know how your beliefs line up with his?  Or are you just swayed by his talk and looks with no real thought to what Obama really stands for?   It's a 48 question test.  Let's see how you do.

I took the test and no surprise I got this as my answer:

You DISAGREED with the Barack Obama position on 48 of the 48 test questions. This means you disagree with the Obama position 100% of the time.

I hope this will help you make an informed decision on Election Day!

Ah, yes, gotta love purposely inflammatory questions to cause actual thought to be buried under piles of rhetorical bullcaca.

You DISAGREED with the Barack Obama position on 29 of the 48 test questions. This means you disagree with the Obama position 60% of the time.

Hmm...see, I'm not as much as a liberal yuppie as ya'll seem to think. :P  What did the question about his brother have to do with his policy?  Also, this wasn't very balanced among different issues...mostly abortion, taxes, and energy...actually, they were pretty loaded questions.

Is there one for McCain anywhere?  I'd like to see how I match up with his stuff.

Considering that site is promoting this book, it's really no surprise.

I quite liked the fourth question:

Some say Barack Obama’s plans to implement sweeping environmental regulations will raise the cost of gas, groceries, heating and air conditioning. Do you favor or oppose Obama’s environmental plans?

Classic psychological methodology put to the noble cause of voter manipulation. If only pyschologists used their powers for good, and not for petty deceptions.

That's what I was hoping to see Zoo.  Thanks for taking the test.  I am surprised you disagreed that much with him honestly.

I'll check.  I'm sure there is.

Well either you agree with  Obama's position on these issues or you don't.   While I absolutely didn't agree with Obama 100% of the time I had one or two questions where I wasn't in the majority of the public either.  Like when it asked if you think the SC (ummmm not our very own SC)  is liberal, abuut right or conservative.....I put about right and then changed it to "too liberal."   I was in the minority on that one.  Didn't agree with Obama or general public.

I put too conservative. :P

I was just noticing how the questions were worded...it's trying to phrase them to get a certain response.  They should have asked them more neutrally.  i.e. Do you agree with 'whatever position'?  Goes along with what cactoblasta said up there.

Careful man, you're becoming dangerously European in mind and speech there. It's probably a crime.

I was a little shocked that I agreed with Obama twice!  But then again, I'm a little more socialy moderate than some of my conservative bretherin.

Here's a link to see which candidate best matches your views.  Not perfect I know but still.

Here is my result:

Your Top Match

John McCain (Republican)

Thanks AD for the link.

I got this response:

John McCain (Republican)

76.47% match

which makes you liking McCain more than me!!

Anthony?  Your turn!

On AD's much less ridiculous and biased version . . .

Ralph Nader (Independant)

78.57% match

Not much of a surprise there.  Gotta love how they can't even spell 'independent' right, though.  Strong work, guys, strong work.

Yeah I thought that was funny.  From the ones I've seen online this is one of the least biased version although they don't score points on spelling . ;P

Why certainly.

However this is quite surprising to me.  I recall taking a similar one in '04 and I had a match of 62% with Bush.  Granted I'm not overjoyed by either candidate they are the candidates closest to my views.  If Ron Paul didn't express himself like such a nut I would probably agree with him more than McCain (course Paul wasn't in this).

I doubt anything is gonna change until the primaries change.  Hmm, now theres a campaign slogan?

Chuck Baldwin (Constitution)

70.59% match

Just have to check if he is on our ballot.

so far you've come out as the biggest McCain supporter.

I believe that I could construct a survey in which you might also vote 48 out of 48 against McCain...if I constructed the questions and answers just right. I don't believe this was an unbiased survey.

48 might be a lot of work.

But if you can come up with 10, I'll applaud you!

(Do make sure they are points covering different subjects with no repeats.)

A few years ago I set up a similar quiz:

The author of THIS survey was successful in doing so.

My point is this...I could take any question and twist the wording in the question or the answer in such a way that you had to vote how I wanted you to vote to prove my point...which I'm NOT going to waste my time doing just as I quit wasting my time on this survey which was doing the same thing. I'm not opposed to doing surveys, and I've done quite a few...but not slanted, biased surveys like this one.

Not that I support everything Obama says or believes...I do not...nor do I support everything that McCain says or believes.
