Black screen on intro?

I can't see the intro movie and all I get is a black screen. Do I have to install any particular versio nof the XviD codec to see the intro movie?

Not that I know of. Is this with Space Rangers 2 or Reboot? I've had some issues playing the intro video with Space Rangers 2, but can hit the Escape key to skip over them.
