Machine SID doesn't match

I just purchased CursorFX Plus, installed it, and ran the program.  Upon trying to apply a trail, or in my case anything, a pop-up appears reading, "The product appears to be validated but the machine SID doesn't match.  Try deleting the file C:\Program Files\Stardock\CursorFX\sig.bin and re-activating"  However, when I open up the CursorFX file, sig.bin doesn't appear.  Any ideas?

Sorry, looks like a bad error message.  The sig.bin is in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\CursorFX for XP and C:\ProgramData\Stardock\CursorFX for Vista.  Find it there and delete it.  This should fix it.

AFTER that. When I delete the sig file. It crashes and won't update. What serial do I use? The one that came when I bought it?
