What Should I Write About?

I'm having a bit of writer's block...well, not so much that as a lack of focus.  I want to write...but nothing seems to come to mind right now.  Admittedly I have been scatterbrained with all this stupid school work...but that seems to be calming down just a tad.   Well, I do have to write a paper for Thursday...but hey, that's pretty much a break for me. :P

I was thinking of doing some more animal features soon...but I need to find a nice chunk of time to dedicate to it...which, unfortunately I haven't had lately.  You'd be surprised how long those sons a bitches take.  I like to make sure all my facts are correct. :)  Anywho, it's a labor of love or something like that.  Maybe I can crank out another this weekend.

What I'd really like to do is find some ideas and tap back into my creative pieces...y'know blurbs, poems, stories, and all that cool shit that ya'll love me for. ;)

 

So, again I scramble about on my knees and ask you for good ideas that may cause a stir in my creativity complex.

Well, bloggers...audience participation time.  Any ideas for a good writing piece? 

 

Also if the JUWC wants to kick back up again, that'd be swell.

 

Now I have to go write an opening paragraph for that stupid bullshit paper that's due Thursday. :thumbsdown:

Sounds to me like you're lacking some inspiration, mate.  I'm kind of in the same space at the moment.  I've got a bunch of ideas formed while I was on holidays but these are still gestating in my subconcious.  I'm going to write something about the holiday and post some pictures as well but I've got so much catching up to do at work, this probably won't happen for a few more days at least.

I wish I had something I could suggest to help inspire you but I don't.  Sorry...

Yeah, that's pretty much it...I have the desire, but nothing that's really grabbing my attention at the moment.  That and all this school crap is cluttering up my head. ;)

Boy do I understand THAT! Sometimes I get the urge and strain and strain and nothing comes out.

Folks tend to lean towards the warm and fluffy...digging deep into the ol' psyche of what I like to call "some fucked up shit" tends to make'em a wee bit uncomfortable.

Ah, but I got me some good friends on here already...that I do. :D

Not when it is done well.  Everyone likes to take a "magic Carpt Ride" on occassion, but not in reality.  So reading about it is better than experiencing it.  Dynamaso does it very well.  I suspect he just lets his Super-Ego take control and then writes (Tova is another good one as is Roy).

I sometimes day dream about that kind of stuff, but my writing sucks, so I do not try to pen it.
