Can someone tell me how to get these

Play a lot & maintain a ranking score high enough to prevent anyone (better!) from taking the spot away from you. In a word - competition.

Perhaps I was not clear I mean how many games do you need to play to get each one

like how many games do you need to play to get Fleet Admiral

But, seriously... you may want to try contacting someone who has achieved any of these and simply ask for the glory path IF they can remember how - exactly, which i doubt is obvious or simple.

- Places; most probably classification of best to worst - i'm just guessing here, but it seem like it should be what the ranking is all about.

- Achievement; again, possibly a "scoring" system of evaluation which is listing the ranks of the many top to bottom.

The nuke symbol ones are for author medals the star ones are for commenters.  I think these, along with forum rankings went the wayside.  Rankings still show up when trying to give karma as people with higher than rank 1 can give more than 1 karma point.

I'd point to the medals post, but since you came here asking for the ones that aren't nailed down in that thread...you've been there already I guess lol.

Silverbeacher had a good thread going on this last year. Maybe a little thread necromancy over there would get some newer, more complete data that he could use to update the OP.

Understood. I'm encouraging a resurrection spell over there b/c the thread name and OP are more likely to get search hit results for questions like Harborne's. And, Silverbeacher's the kind of poster who might well keep his OP fresh if people are working the thread. I forget who did the first one I saw around here, but an OP designed to be an ongoing summary of info gathered by a thread seems like a really good format to me.

Must we really encourage a cheater? Harbornes scores to date in the MV are illegal and soon to be dealt with by Cari. Since Harborne is showing no remorse for his actions The Kzinti Empire and the Tyranny of Evil are leading a Forum Blackout of Harborne in an effort to preserve the MV as it is, a level playing feild that allows all members to compete with the best chance possible of climbing the ranks, with no fear of trying to compete with those who have a illegal advantage.

For those that do not compete in the MV, you may not feel that way and i can understand and repsect that.

Oh for god sake if you don't want to talk to me that's fine but don't start telling others to do it to when its only based on past mistakes that will not be made again

I'm keeping others informed of a situation that is yet to be resolved. I am telling them to do nothing, only asking them not to encourage a known cheater. You may not make more characters, but you are still using them and gaining an advantage over the rest of the MV community.

How would you like it if i relayed to Mumblefratz and Magnumanic how to do what you did and thay started spamming 1 million point games for many characters. We would jump millions of points in score. (not that they would want such information but as an example of the jump in score that could take place)

You have an illegal advantage and i feel i must inform the community of this as they may be unaware. On top of this you are bragging about your empires progress when you know full well that it is an inflated score and does not represent your true standing in the Metaverse.

Wan't me to stop? Beat Cari to it and delete all of the scores from all of the characters you created, all 18+ of them, bar your original account. Then i will stop mentioning this whole topic.

Until then i will pursue the cheating of the Metaverse that is continuing until it is stopped.

Those are the legal ones he has.  Of the three illegal ones remaining in his empire, one is still a Senator.  The illegal ones have been previously acknowledged by him through his sister's post.  If three overt cheats remain, I wonder how many are still lurking undetected?

Harborne, just to note: my reply there was a question, not an accusation.  I'm inquisitive primarily.  GAH those cats are rubbing off on me....I've gotten CURIOUS!!!!

Duh- and, i was trying to share some basic 'opinions' with a "newbie" (how it seemed, at first) that wanted to know how to perform much better rankings!

Only to learn, that there's some silly cheating stuff involved (in the past, it looks like).

Who said that -- It's better to live proud & honest standing up straight than to die with regrets on both knees.

In all good conscience, i guess i'm pretty good at this game (score-wise) but i don't have to climb the Metaverse ladders to understand that performance evaluation has more to do with my own personal feelings than being compared with someone who cheat(ed).

Has it ever occured to anyone that achieving 'Fleet Admiral' rank may be complex enough to be nearly impossible unless any of these submitted scores must ALWAYS be perfect and maximized beyond anybody else's best (as publicly shown, btw)?

Please note that i do NOT have a medals bar either... with only one 'test-game' listed with my character, that's to be expected!

I don't know.  Perhaps somewhere around the time when you posted a pic of your characters?

Would you like one?  You just need to click on the "Metaverse" button on the left side of this screen, then make sure you're logged in. 

Mouse over to "Account" and a drop down menu will appear.

Click on "Edit My Characters"

On the far right side of your characters, you'll see an almost grayed out button labled "Default".  Click the one next to the character that has the medals you want to display.  The button will lighten up to a blue color and your medals will appear on the forums.
