can't update Space Rangers 2 Reboot

Once agian, another problem with Impusle. sigh....

 

I had already purchased the retail version of Space Rangers 2 when Impulse was born. Yet, wonderfully, I was able to purchase Reboot and it worked fine with the other game.  Now, however, I discover an update to Reboot. But I can't update because it wants me to register the original game Space Rangers 2. I don't seem to be able to do this since I didn't purchase from Stardock.

 

Anyone have any idea how I can get the update?

This was an issue with an older version of Impulse. If you let Impulse auto-update it should allow you to proceed. You can try forcing an update by clicking on the Orb, then Preferences -> Folders and clicking Reset Data.

Once Impulse updates itself, when you go to install Reboot it should ask you to point it to where you have Space Rangers 2 installed.  Do so and it should proceed normally.

I have been trying to reinstall SR2 RD and keep getting SouOpen Access is denied. What can I do to resolve this.
