SR2 Reboot installed over retail UK version--doesn't work

Hi folks, I purchased SR2 Reboot, downloaded and installed Impulse, downloaded and registered Reboot, pointed the installer to my existing Space Rangers 2 folder (SR2 freshly installed), but when I double click on it, nothing happens, not even a "not responding" in the task manager.  Nothing. Installed it over my UK retail DVD version.  NOTE: I'm in the USA.

Any ideas or tips on getting it to work?  It's _supposed_ to work properly with the UK retail DVD version.

The reboot expansion from stardock assumes the 800*600 resolution pack is installed. If you did not in fact install it, this is the result. In that case you can either reinstall it with the 800*600 resolution pack, or edit install.txt manually, by removing the references to 1gov.pkg, 1captain.pkg etc, and setting Resolution_R1 to No.

Thanks, Netriak, I'll try that.  I didn't realize that not installing the 800x600 art would be a problem.

Hmm, why can't I edit my own post?  Anyway, Netriak, I tried to give you Karma just now, but nothing seems to happen when I click on the thumbs up button.  Anyway, I'm going to use your .exe, Netriak--from what I read it fixes a bunch of stuff that even the more recent official update doesn't.

Yes, the forum is kinda broken nowadays.

And yes, you read correctly, my fixed exe fixes something the official update didn't.
