I just listened to Sarah Palin when asked about the saturday night live skit say "I watched with the volume way down, I thought it was hilarious, spot on.  It was hilarious, again didnt hear a word she said but the visual was spot on."  How can a comedy routine be hilarious if you dont even hear it???  It could be that Tina Fey looked just like her spot on but not hilarious.  This woman is the reincarnation of Dan Qualye.  This may be a real little thing but it shows you something about her.  I honestly told my wife that I thought she would have listened to it and thought it was funny, but she couldnt even listen to it and then further said it was hilarious.  Its just a small insight into who she really is.  I think we will see more of these gaffes.

Body langauge.  It is a major part of communication.  She was looking at the mannerisms of the actresses. When I saw the skit, I was working so I did not hear all of it.  But I thought the mannerisms of the 2 were pretty good.

Come on DrGuy they were both standing there most of the time.  She made a dumb statement one of many to come I think.  Just admit it, you had no problem saying that Obama misused a word in the post you started and then roasting him for it.

the beauty queen wave, eye ticks, licking of lips, single finger hand gestures, facial expressions, waving at the crowd during the speech weren't purposely done by Tina?

I think Tina Fey is being talked about so much because the fact she flawlessly nailed Palin's looks, body language and gestures. 

There are many that make their living imitating famous people, or else Tina would be unemployed?  Those that imitate are usually funny because of their life like and believable resemblance?

No, really watch it again.  The head flips, the sneers, the hands on hips.  They looked more like Hillary and Sarah than sounded like them (at least Fey sounded a little like Sarah - Poehler did not even come close to Hillary).

Now that is not saying that was what Sarah was talking about, but like I said, I did not hear most of it (background noise) as much as watched it.  And it was still Spot on!

Not to mention the tit-profile & cocking the rifle.  Even muted, it's dead solid funny.  Or as LTCG would say, "I don't care who ya are, that's funny."

People are having to stretch so damn hard to find anything, ANYTHING, any little improbable crumb, to criticize about this woman.  And that's what's really funny.

You guys will defend anything then I guess....It was a dumb statement.  Ok so it wasnt as dumb as some, but it was dumb.  The other question I have is who watches shows with the sound off? and why?  Maybe she cant take funny crtiques, that in and of itself kinda worries me about what type of person she might be in office.  But iwas dumb.

If I wake up late at night and cant sleep, I ill flip on the TV but keep the volume low (low that I cannot hear it) so as not to disturb my wife.

Moose, I dont know if her statement is innocent a gaffe or what.  But you did ask "how" so I answered.  The only one that knows the truth is her.  SO ask her already!

I'll give you that but my point is that it was a goofy statement and just as I have seen people here put Obamas statements up here I think it is fair to go both ways......Daiwa  I am not digging a hole just making a point

A totally assinine point.

OK.  Let's spell it out a bit further for Moose.  Her comments don't address when she saw the clip, live or at a later time.  I strongly suspect that whatever TV she catches these days is 'with the volume down' while she's doing something else - like tending to details of her campaign work maybe, or breast feeding her child, or who knows?

If this is the best you can come up with as criticism, she's a frickin' shoe-in to win.
