What would you wish for?

View points on life.

If you where given a choice in life what would choose? Would desire money, love, or sex? Of course to answer the question you must understand the meaning of the question.

What am I really asking is "is you life everything you want it to be or everything it was meant to be?" See, I believe in standards. IN my opinion we where created for a specific purpose. Under no circumstance do I believe we are living out our purpose.

In fact , I am concerned that the beauty of life is being lost on so many people. Yes many are married and taking care of a home. However, how many of us are truely in touch with the elements of our lives?

My fear is that so many of us are just getting by with a true sense of ourselves and our position in life. I am even scared that we have crossed the point of no return.

Basic human decency and respect are things of the past. Every day I see people being mean to one another. Of the people I see engaged in life, many are chasing wrong pursuits.

We have built a culture where vulgarity and intoxication pass for human contact. Every day it appears that we sink deeper and deeper in to the gutter.

How are we ever going to see or work for good. I know you may say well who are you to set the standard?

Well for me I am the perfect person to set the standards by which I will live. Moreover, I have no desire to e part of this cruel world that works at its own distraction.

We are here to learn. The purpose of life is to learn by our own experiences so that we can help others. Sometimes we have to learn by our mistakes. Once we have learned all the things that we were intended to learn on this plane, we are allowed to crross over into the next plane. Does this make sense? GCJ

hmm.. back 2 the good old existentialist argument..... we have no purpose in life for cryin out loud, we're just here 2 live, reproduce and die. simple as that. i for one am pursueing money and power (im a student rite now), everything else follows that.

I'm with Machiavelli. We are just people doing the people-thing.

It's an incredible vote of self-importance to believe that for as long as earth has existed, it's primary purpose was to produce people who then do their part. No, sorry. We're simply a passing fad of earth.
