Controll freaks over at Egosoft forum?

Hi

Seems as though the moderators over on the Egosoft forum are becoming a bunch of controll freaks?

 

You just have to see the numbers of lockouts and lame reasons for the lockouts. Then compare that to other game forums and see what i mean!

I agree constant movement and closing of posts.And the Moderator posts messages in a thread warning you in person which his post itself goes off topic and angers customers trying to get information and share bug problems.

The moderator humiliates in public people who tell the truth about their products and derails the discusion.

X3: Terran Conflict came out last Friday and its unplayabe never have I seen a game so unfinished 1-12fps on the very best computers you could own and everything has a bug.  The Terran Conflict  forum is crammed full of hundreds of topics about bugs. One person started a topic  about the Quality Assurance at Egosoft and the Moderator attacked customers comments one guy wrote about how bad the bugs were and the moderator replied along with a warning about not to post an opinion. If its got hundreds of people creating topics about each bug then how can it be an opinion that the game is bad quality, not play tested, and sold half done.

This is the reason I don't buy games at release any more. Except for Stardock - those I usually buy to get into the beta!

*still unhappy at how Phase Jump Inhibitors got nerfed to unusability*

X3: TC works fine on my computer and probably on 99% of all computers. Stop whining already, guys. Saying it is 'unfinished' is simply not true. This game is the pinnacle of the series. And before you call me a fanboy, let me tell you I found it impossible to play the previous iterations of the series due to the clumsy interface. The interface has been revamped, and now the game shines.
