Unaligned Creeps

For getting xp, earning cash, and slowing down the flow of faction creeps

I really liked having environmental, unaligned creeps that would fight people from all sides in DotA.  They'd only really work on bigger maps I think, but on those bigger maps they make things much more interesting (especially Gul'Dan with his super loot drops and the requirement for hugely powerful heroes even to think about taking him down).

Of course, since Beta 1 is all about trying to identify and fix basic functionality bugs and whatnot, I don't find the size of the map or the lack of unaligned creeps disappointing.  I just want to let GPG and Stardock know that I really hope bigger maps with third-party baddies will be included in later versions.

I dunno..

Only way i'd like to see this is with something really powerful and deadly spawning, triggered by flag capture, that would be worth a lot to farm.

Demigod isn't a forest with monster.. it's Demigods fighting in an Arena.

True, but do all the arena environments have to be so friendly?  Why not throw a wrench in the works sort of, make the demigods have to deal with natives and such in addition to their opponents during the match?

I definitely agree though that having the smaller arena maps is a good thing.  I just don't think it should be the only thing...

Where would these creeps fit? Everywhere you move is a lane :P.

This. we've discussed it before, and would be really good if done right. What would you think of something where you have to deliberately go out of the way in a less "built" feeling arena, though? If there's an arena in the woods and there's a small opening that if you go all the way in there's a very powerful neutral that you can kill for major rewards?
