Payment issue

I've PMed this to a Stardock person and haven't gotten replied yet, so I'm asking here.

 

Here's my issue: I bought a prepaid visa debit/credit card. It is for online purchases among other things.

I preordered several weeks ago, and it DID charge the money instantly.

I waited and waited for my Serial email.

The card failed to go through and I lost my $44.95.. This is aggrivating.

It said it went through, but now I lost my money. How can this be resolved?

What you saw may have been a temporary charge to make sure that you had the money. Either way, you'll probably need to email [email protected].

Also check on impulse to see that the mail didn't get lost. I never got the mail, but the registration was credited to my mail.

Temporary cards can be tricky when used for preorders since there is generally a hold put on then later released, which is separate from the actual charge. In any case, contact [email protected] and they should be able to help get this fixed for you (don't PM for sales issues).
