I haven't seen one of those annoying flashing/gimcy banner adds in years.  It's hard to take a news site seriously when there is a bouncing pumpkin trying to sell credit services next to the article.  Combine that with NoScript and your in <insert chosen afterlife, or lack of>.

Sure, I won't block all of photobuket since a dumb pic is posted from there in one of these threads, so I'll see the offending picture once.  But from then on when I revisit the thread, I won't need to be bothered with it anymore.
