Will Demigod use this for the ladder/ranking system?  Or will they use impulse?  I haven't seen any ladder or rankings on impulse, so I'm guessing the answer is no to impulse and yes to GPGnet.

Short answer: Impulse.

Features coming soon after Phase 2

We have a load of additional features to add to Impulse as well that will begin to show up in the Demigod betas:

  • Achievements. Players will be able to have achievements attached to their accounts.
  • Rankings. Lots of different ranking features and other statistical fun.

Impulse is being made into a gpgnet like program, basically.

I'm guessing its' partially why phase1 of demigod beta is LAN only, because impulse isnt' ready yet.
