"Downloading Impulse Update - Connecting..."

Like the title says, I go to install the new update through Stardock, and the bottom corner gives the "Downloading Impulse Update - Connecting..." It'll go no further than that. I'd really like to update the game, so any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried clicking the blue ORB at the upper-left (in Impulse) and then under PREFERENCES >> CONNECTION check use "new download mechanism".

I have no such option under connection (or folders or general). Just default server and proxy settings. I'm confused :-/

Ah, you have the original version and it's not updating to the new version.

Here: http://www.impulsedriven.com and install that.
