So, I've been playing with ObjectDock a bit and decided to upgrade to OD Plus.
I'd seen screenshots with docks flying out horizontally from the left and right, but try as I might I couldn't figure out how they were doing it - all my docks were stacked vertically when on the left/right and horizontally when on top/bottom.
I go through every single setting in the ObjectDock Properties dialog, all the right-click menus on the dock itself - nothing.
So, I think, they are flying out from the side - that must make them fly-out menus right? Nope, figured out what they are - very cool, but not what I'm looking for.
Finally, I figure it - the docks are resizable, so all you need to do is change the shape to long and thin - simple, bleedin' obvious really.
P.S. anyone wondering if the upgrade from OD to OD Plus is worth it - stop wondering and go for it. Multiple docks, tabbed docks and (yeh, I know now) fly-out menus don't sound much until you get them - massive difference.
