I don't know if this would be possible with DX or maybe an enhancement of its own, but I would like to have individual desktop icons, I could place anywhere, with flyout capability without having to add say 5 seperate docks and tweak the positioning to get them where I want them. If you have a full OD that spans the lenght of your screen and have a flyout on either end, depending on how many apps are in the flyout, some of the icons and one of the arrows are lost off the desktop. Also, having 1 icon placed as a flyout, it may also be possible to have a 360 degree flyout which circles the entire icon a-la the windows 7 style circular dock I keep seeing. Can you say sweet??

Ability to click on a preview to navigate thru SKS instead of using tree. ( If not, re-organize\alphabetize treeview to be easier to navigate)
Better updating when making changes in SKS 6 / Copy and paste support SKS 6

Firstly, I'd like to see an Object Desktop logo that actually makes sense. Putting reflections on every inch of a logo doesn't make it "Web 2.0", especially when the reflections don't make any realistic sense. Secondly, please for the love of God update WindowFX for Vista. You have great D3D powered desktop and we still don't have "compiz" like effects. If anyone can pull off a "compiz" for Windows, its Stardock.

More free Master skins, fix broken things in WB, add a full code editor to SKS6 (it's useful sometimes when something is SKS is broken!) Update Object Edit! Adding CursorFX Plus in to the mix might be nice too. :CONGRAT:

Compiz equivalent, aka a major upgrade to WindowFX. Making it work on Vista would be a start.

i think the first thing to do, is finish updating apps for vista, that had release dates of last year. lets not go crazy adding all kinds of new stuff when several of the old apps don't work yet on vista properly

Systray support for the ODNT Launchpad(and fix said Launchpad so DX builder mode does not crash when launching from it)please. :D

XP being phased out? Why? 35% of the people who bought Vista have downgraded to XP. I have no intentions of switching to Vista, ever!

I'd like it so that when I am looking at the apps I can install, only ones that are REALLY part of Object Desktop are visible. I hate seeing ones that I have to buy to get the full version mixed in with the ones I don't have to pay extra for. Or, at a minimum, have some categories that differentiate between them.

Totally agree on Enhanced Dialog working in Vista would be a nice addition. And about having a boot screen changer for vista. Also compiz would be excellent in Vista. Not sure why Captainbeaker said Logonstudio Vista didn't work right in SP1, I have SP1 and it works just fine for me.

Quite strong words, care to follow-up with why you dislike it so intensely? I find it works just great on my machine and don't understand what people have against it. Usually those against it have never used it. True you need 2 GB of ram and a good graphics card to use it smoothly, but that isn't so outrageous. The UAC can get annoying, but its easy to turn off (which in Linux has something very much like it but a little less obtrusive). Anyway no one is forcing you to use Vista, but it is in fact the future for now seeing as how MS is not making XP any longer. I hope ODNT keeps improving the existing Vista apps and upgrading those which still don't work on Vista correctly.

I wish to see more plugins for desktopx...
DX media player falls way behind any multimedia player today. For u developers its not a big work to innovate a multimedia plugin for next version. So that dx player can play many formats.

This is just a small thing but i would love the ability to change the location/posistion of the vista log on box. It's right in the middle of he screen where most of the details are for what ever picture you are using as a log on screen. Off topic.... And on the folks complaining about vista..i have home premium and absolutely love it. I have had no hardware issues, no slowdowns. Nothing, i don't download a bunch of shareware, or porn or anything like that. Maybe that's why. My laptop is a Dell XPS M1530, 4GB Ram, 320GB HD and 256MB Video Card. I also keep all of my drivers up to date and back up regularly. I'm guessing a lot of the folks who "hate" vista have never even tried it and are just like a lot of drones listening to each other. Anyway, to the folks at Stardock and all the talented skinners a big hearty thankyou for your time and dedication to all of the stardock products

Reply #49 Yesterday, 11:16 AM I only request 1 wish: The ability for IconPackager to remove the shortcut arrow on desktop.
Tweakui & there's also a 3rd party add-on app called xdn-tweaker,that gives more functionlity along with tweakui, set em & forget em,tho if you have vista your screwed :p ,chances are it's a line change in the registry that removes the arrow so a script could possibly be used to do the same thing ?

1) I would like to see Object Dock improved (and before you shout, make it part of object desktop!) Desperately need Object Dock 2.0, its IMO the best product 2nd to Window Blinds. And on Object Dock I would love to see you be able to put the text next to the icon so you could create an actual taskbar (rather than just a task bar with icons which is useless if you have 2 folders that look the same). 2) Window FX : Get it working properly with Vista. Thanks.

All apps need to be updated for Vista use. (I miss BootSkin... :SNIFF!: )

Also, Cursor FX Plus and ObjectDock Plus need to be added to Object Desktop. And there also needs to be a free app that lets you use XP .msstyles in Vista using WB technology. (Sorry for being a tad off-topic...)

These are a few of my favorite wants! 1. Since Theme Manager is part of Object Desktop, integrate Cursor FX into TM. 2. Compare Impulse utilities with the ones on Object Desktop, add missing ones to OD like BootSkin LogonStudio, TweakShell (for those of us w/o Vista), and gee you could add Cursor FX as well :)  3. Make the slots OS independent so Tweak can be for either XP or Vista. 4. Add Object Dock to the mix (Zabaz  :d ). 5. Fix the Logon Studio registration problem, seems I have to re-reg every month. Oh and one last thing.... A Republican for President!

Make everything work with vista (Especially Window FX and Boot Screen), add Cursor FX and Object Dock Please! +1 for Object Desktop Browser, +1 pretty much every suggestion in this thread so far, they all should be added! I would also like to see something similar to sysmetrix that has all system monitoring capabilities inbuilt (just imagine a fully skinnable everest!). This is probably not going to happen, but here goes anyway. A deal with MS to include Object Desktop (or at least a limited version of it) as an Ultimate extra.

I am not very technical so any add on suggestion for features on here seems good. I would simply want to see a real Ultimate Object Desktop collection that includes all of StarDock's products in one simple suit (such as OD and CursorFX added) and maybe be able to integrate those that are not StarDock but are promoted on the Wincustomize website (such as Rainlender, SysMatrix and maybe even Xion). Of course this would cost more then the current Ultimate Object Desktop, But it would also save us some by getting it all at one time as oppose to individually. I have yet to buy Object Desktop 2008 but would like to and would be willing to pay more if it had those other programs added to it.
