Can't install

from Sins Forums

I'm having trouble installing sins for some reason. When I try to install it, a message pops out saying "Error", before I can even enter the Cd-key, then it skips to the end of the installation and says: "Fatal error during installation". I know my pc has the required specs to run it, my operating system is Windows XP: SP2. Can anyone help me?

How up-to-date is your Windows installation? Try updating your OS, all of your device drivers and trying again.

Also, if you have the demo installed, make sure to uninstall before trying to install.

Well, I don't have the demo installed. Also one person suggested that it's the disc, and that I should return it and get another copy. And I updated my Windows installer last week.

I'm not just talking about your "windows installer", I'm talking about your entire OS. Make sure it's up-to-date.

You can also register your cd key in Impulse and download the game bypassing the windows installer.
