logon studio version 1.00[a].a.017 (latest version) comes up as an expired beta

I tried to update the build I had last week and it failed with a timebomb issue.  I just updated again on a clean install of Vista Ultimate and the same error occurs. The product loads, but when you hit apply, you get a message saying the product has expired.

Thanks

David

Are you both running Vista Ultimate? There is another thread that points to only the Ultimate installs having this trouble.

Also to add to that I would need to know if they are 32 or 64bit.

Vista Ultimate, SP1, 32-bit. I'm happy to provide access to a debugger should it be required as well as run any tests required.

Thanks

I was speaking with the developers on this but so far we have not been able to replicate it. Could you please start formal tickets with support on this issue?  [email protected].

Press and hold the Windows key, press R and type the following into the Run dialog:
dxdiag

Once everything loads, please click the "Save all information" button and attach the output file to the ticket you start up with us. Thanks very much!

support call logged - can supply the number if you want. Just as a side node, if I download the 1.0 version from the web it does not time bomb, so it is specific to this build. Also, since this latest install was on a clean machine, there was no downloaded logon screen histories, or previous versions.

Thanks

Try uninstalling Logon, restart, then install the regular version and not the beta.

To do this click the Stardock Orb > Preferences > General > uncheck the show prerelease version box. Then normally run the install/download.
