Arena Mode

I would very much like to see an arena mode. Instead of the mirrored style of the maps we've seen intended for 1v1 team play, arena mode would use more circular maps. They could be played in either team mode or as free-for-all. Generals would get a stream of minions to play with, while assassins would go it alone. There would then be a bunch of computer controlled minions running around. The objective is to whoop as much ass as possible. Think of it as a deathmatch mode for Demigod.

yeah i know what your getting at, Different team structures and modes really keep a game fresh and current. Being able to play an FFA is always great fun. if it were to be an official feature now woudl certainly be the time to start working on it. Other then that the community will have lots of talented mods

Might not be the best idea since demigods might scale differently
(early game demigods, late game demigods)
but then again, i have no idea how the gameplay and that is right now. X-(

They may let us enter with a "preset" demigods who are balanced against each other - demigods that are weaker at the start may get some extra items etc.

Anything other than a team vs. team situation would be mainly for fun, since it's virtually impossible to balance characters for both team and solo games. I'd like to see a 4-way battle, though; each team supporting 3 people or so.

That would be a ton of fun, I love the idea. It may be better to do unofficially, though, because there's not nearly as much expectation that mods are perfectly balanced. Also, then there could be a differently balanced stable of demis for this mode considerably more easily.
