Credit Card payment question

I pre-ordered the game some weeks ago, with a credit card that expires this month. I didn't bored much about it since i beta was going to start this month. But now that its due to begin in September 5th i guess the money will only be withdrawn in September.

What happens since the credit card expires this month?

I checked the credit card account statment and a request for the money was made and accepted but no money got out i believe.

Well typically your Credit Card company sends you a new card in the month your current one expires, then you simply call them and activate the new card and cut your old one up. There should not be an issue with the purchase. because it has already been entered just not processed. However if there is you will have time to correct it and pre order again i am sure

Definitely contact sales longshot, after reading your post I contacted them because I had a similar situation (for me it was that the mag strip became damaged). Since the # changed (as did the expiration date), they're going to have to cancel my pre-order so I can pre-order again.

I'm just hopeful that it won't hurt my chances of being in this first beta :(

Definitely make sure to contact [email protected] and have your order updated after you've been issued your new card.

When you say updated, do you mean that they can update the order rather than having to cancel and then re-order? If that's the case I wish I would have known, since the sales contact said it had to be canceled.

Not that it will make a difference for me at this point, but if sales can do that, then it's good to know for the future.

Well, I'm not sales, so if that's how they need to do it, then I guess that's how it needs to go. The beta's not full yet in any case as far as I know, so it should be fine.
