DreamScape problem "Internet Explorer has not closed properly"

Truly at the end of my rope at this stage. Dreamscene is not working at all!

My computer freezes completely upon selecting a Dreamscene and a message appear 10 minutes later "DREAMSCENE ERROR, INTERNET EXPLORER DID NOT CLOSE PROPERLY AND DREAMSCENE WAS DISABLED TO PROTECT YOUR COMPUTER!"

 

please help!

Running on Vista Ultimate, DeskScape 1.2 Free v, but has bought several dreams that seem unusable at this stage.

That's more than likely "Windows Explorer" instead of "Internet Explorer".


Looking to the event viewer for why explorer is crashing will help as this automatic disabling of DreamScene is a result of something causing a problem affecting explorer, just what that problem is may be explosed in the event viewer.

Right click on the computer icon on your desktop (or in your start menu) and click on manage. The computer management screen will open, from here click on event viewer, window logs, and application. Look for a red error event and click on it (you may find more than one so look for one that has explorer in the description). Highlight the text in the description and hit your "ctrl" and "c" keys on your keyboard at the same time to copy the text. Paste the information here and hopefully we can help solve the problem.
