Load Glitch/crash

Ok, first I would like to say that when you are playing and load the game that the people who vote for you in each state fluctuates (never in your favor). This is extremely annoying and slightly game breaking. A friend of mine was barley winning a game, his game crashed, and when he loaded he was suddenly loosing. Thus he wasted all that time playing just because the game screwed him over on the load.

Secondly, My game has started to crash whenever I load a game and now I can't play. Is there any way to fix this or am I going to have to start over. Please fix these bugs because I was almost done with that game and now im going to have to start over. Very frustrating.
