On the personal page I am wanting to update the desktop screen shot but it will not change the image thats there even though it says the new image had uploaded correctly. Is this a server glitch?

They have been working on that. You may want to keep trying or wait a while,it may be fixed now or soon will be. :D

um feeling stupid here but have no idea what that means either.


pressing ctrl+F5 clears your browser cache

sometime the cache will hold an old image and show it to you even when it's been updated

problem solved it seams

browser cahce is cleared every time I close the browser So I knew that wasn't the problem.

Nice idea,but not a post-able thread,so this one will do.
I have tried over 10 times in the last two days to change my avatar. It says"upload successful"yet the image never changes.Yes,it's 50x50 jpg.
Cleared both browsers,no help.While we are on the subject,where is my WC sub badge? How long do you have to be a member to get one?I wrote web support,but got no reply. :D

I don't think there are subscriber badges (if you're referring to my Wizop badge) that or you mean the Award on the personal sites?

What is your new avatar supposed to look like? And you've tried Ctrl + F5?

Yep,that's the one.I see it on other peoples sites,but not on mine.Not really a big deal,I was just wondering what it took to get one.This morning my new avatar showed up,but I did have to use your tip to see it on the home page. Thank you,you are always helpful.
