How can I beat JFK?

I have tried several times with varying startegies to beat JFK as the final Democratic candidate, but for every time I get the same result; a whooping!  I oustpend him financially, with politcal capital and we usually split the endorsements. Usually I can muster 140-150 electoral votes but really have yet to even come close to beating him.

Any suggestions, ideas, thoughts?  PLEASE HELP!  thx

use george washington and nominate reagan or nixon as running mate so as to clinch california. thats how i beat him. also create a link of political consultancy and  community endorsement offices around the region of Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, The 2 Carolinas, and Tennessee and Kentucky. also set up ads and election headquarters in jfk's home region. alternatively, you could select rommney as a running mate so as to force jfk to spend time in New England.
