In an age of superfetch, having the system auto logon is pretty important to me.

 

What I WISH TweakVista would do is have it auto-logon and put on the screensaver immediately.  

The problem with Windows these days is that in order to get the official "boot time" down, they have all kinds of crap happen after you actually logon which is extremely annoying so I end up having to logon and then wait 5 minutes for the system to become reasonably responsive.

True. Wish windows worked with a cheap solidstate drive and an "instant on"...like Linux. Too many "services", etc. going on.

I haven't tried the 7Beta...is boot time better with it?

Seriousbit looks like a very good utility to have, and might address some of these issues. I'll need to email them to ask some questions, unless anyone knows something about it?
