Display of ingame footage on Youtube

I have noticed on other forum posts that there will be no NDA for people who have pre-ordered and are accepted into the beta.  Does this mean that we can capture in game footage (a la FRAPS, etc) and display this information on third party video websites such as Youtube?  I saw this with Sins of a Solar Empire and found that it was a good way of getting free advertisting for the game.

I can't see why not. It's pretty rare to have an NDA when lots of people will be playing because it would be nearly impossible to enforce.

I bet GPG and Stardock would be glad for people to spread the word (and videos)

Since this isn't a restricted or closed beat, ie anyone who pre-orders can get in, i don't see why not.

There might be an NDA on the first and maybe second beta because the fist isn't going to be very, "popular" it's going to be buggy, and have a lot of mistakes in it (probably) so they might not want to advertise that. The second depending on how it goes they might lift it, dunno. But NDAs in usually the final open beta aren't rare enough to be rare but they aren't that common either.

Just my opinion.

If this follows previous SD betas, the open / public stages (I think the term they prefer is public, open implies you can get in for free... which you can't, you have to pre-order) won't be covered by NDAs.

The usual preorder betas are wide open for sharing of gameplay details.
