While earlier than I think anyone saw it coming, G4TV has nominated Sins of a Solar Empire for Strategy Game of the Year! This puts Sins up against only one other PC game (World in Conflict) while the other nominees are console titles. Check out the link below for the details:

In related news, scientists recently confirmed that the Earth is, in fact, mostly covered in water.  :LOL: 

A bit early for the nomination, but definitely not surprising. I wonder how they'll judge, though. World in Conflict is another great game, but the two are nothing alike.

I think what's more concerning is that there is only two PC titles being nominated for best strategy game, and before Civ Revolutions there was no such thing as a good console strategy.
