Windows xp not shutting down!!:(

Well when ever I click on the shutdown button, the computer just not shutsoff. I waited like 10 minutes but it usually took like 10 seconds to shutdown. I do not have any programs running either.

Please help. To turn it off I have to press and hold the Button on the pc to shut it off.
That is really anoying.

Please help

This could be caused by a lot of potential issues Ingnition. What was the last software program install/update or change that you made on your computer that you can remember before the problem started occurring. Are you running Windows XP or Vista? Have you tried doing a System Restore to a time before the problem started occurring?

I have the same exact problem! I think it has to do with logon studio, I uninstalled it and it still wont shut down for me
