Thanks. Very slow going for me. I don't like the start button. I don't personally care for the oversized start buttons.

HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS ON A DIET?
I don't quite know how to test for resizing. I addeed and subtracted in options the number of programs shown (From 2 to 15) and it seems to resize pretty well. The turtle shell texture leaves room for playing with and adapts well.
I started the OCCAM windowblind I emailed you about. That's a whole other story. The start menu I made for it did not resize so well. I would post it, but I think even vstyler would find some way to slap me and ask 'what were you thinking?'

Hey bro I have an idea I came up eith it the first time I saw Sams shell when you posted the start menu awhile back it will probably work for both!

Thought ...(dont have many of those)..What if we made a alomost Transparent STMenu and then a single frame animation as an overlay!
If that doesnt work I am convinced(by myself) we can do Sam's with nothing more than layering!

You should be able to pull off that start menu with layers in SKS6. It looks like the hardest part is going to be is positioning the search bar and log off buttons.

I'm currently devoting all my time to completeing a windowblind..no matter what. Everything else is on hold. This is my last and hopefully final draft of the start menu. If you need an explanation, check out the Curried Cabbage Thread.

I don't know whether to break open the Ben&Jerry's or not...I noticed you didn't say it wouldn't work..do I finally have a workable design? I keep thinking about a lil trans in the center panel...I was waiting to see what the feedback would be. Thank you.
