Hi, and welcome to JU.  Now that you've been here a couple of days, let me explain a couple of things to you....


There's something called a 'points whore'.  Basically it's a term used to describe someone who writes about something contraversial in order to garner responses, and subsequently, points.  Even if you're not into points, it's still a term we (I) use for someone who's trying to get attention to their blog.


Did you write about this to attract attention, or because youreally felt like writing about it?  I find it curious that you would ask 'does this mean my blog is interesting?' after each response you get....if it's what you felt like writing at the time, would you really care if people found it 'interesting' or not?  I have 350+ articles...some of them people read, some of them people don't read, and I could care less if people find them interesting or not.  It's my blog, about me and my life, and if it's boring....then oh well.

Ok, this is like the most disgusting thing I've read on here. It's even worse than my article about picking other people's noses! My gosh! I really don't think people are intersted. But your title will attract many men. I really don't think you should write about this stuff in my opinoin. But of course you don't have to stop, its not like i can make you. Yeah the whole points whore thing. Yeah I'd admit I'm one, but none of my articles are disgusting like this. If you want the points learn to write interesting things.

I don't see this article as being anymore post-whore-esque than the tons of articles about the war, michael moore, or the upcoming election. I also didn't find this particularly revolting like Carebear did. I mean, seriously, what did you expect when you clicked on it CB? Now, is your blog interesting? That's a matter of opinion and for me, yet to be determined. I find that people who write about taboo subjects such as yours can be very interesting. But you only devoted three short paragraphs to it and didn't really pose any questions to your readers. I find that it's challenging to be interesting if you don't engage readers in your blog from time to time. Really though, if you're getting down about people not reading very often then don't sweat it. A regular audience takes a lot of time and I know that even I, who appreciates those who regularly read my blog, can be very fickle about keeping up with others. You only get what you give...for the most part.

Yeah, I expected something bad to come of it. But the only reason why I came here is because Shaun and Andy brought it to my attention and wanted me to read it to see what i thought of it. So i posted my opinion. It's not anymore revolting than what Marvin said either.

Now, is your blog interesting? That's a matter of opinion and for me, yet to be determined.

What you write about is entirely up to you. There are certain limitations as to what you can post onto the forums, and you'll need to read the T.O.S. agreement to find out what those limits are.

I'm not offended in the slightest by what you've written here, but I'll agree that a few lines won't give enough insight to whether your blog is interesting or not.

Keep going, keep your opinions your own, and blog away Manya.

simple....i deleted it cos it was not the truth...and i dont want people posting such wrong things abt me and my looks in my blog....i will read the comments and reply to them however harsh it might be...and if they are true, i will have it on this blog...but i guess i have the rights to delete comments abt me which are not even close to the truth...and also comments which mislead my readers...hope it answers ur question....now can we move on...??

I'll tell you something that was told to me when I first started this blogging. If you didn't want the attention, you wouldn't be posting articles on here. When someone tells you something that you don't like, agree to disagree if you have to, but don't play the victim, and act like they had no right to say what they did. They have as much right to comment as you do to post. You can disable the comments if you don't want to see what other people think.
