#1: Bush cut anti-terrorism from the F.B.I. by $65 million (on pages 9-10):
Uh, better check that document again. You either failed to read it or are deliberately lying. I specifically call your attention to the following parts:
I am pleased to submit to you the FY 2003 budget Request
September 10, 2001
The following offsets are recommended to permit the Department to fund additional priory program increase in FY 2003
#2: Bush never attended one meeting with the head of the CIA to discuss anti-terrorism
And you have never attended a Sweet Smoke concert. Your point?
The Presidential Daily Breif informing Mr. Bush of a potential attack on federal Buildings in NYC using commercial airlines. Name of PDB "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.":
Yes, and did you read the other PDBs leading up to that one? For the last 2 or 3 presidents? You will find that this is common on a lot of them. As the threat was not deemed imminent or credible! SO after the fact it looks damning, taken in context it is routine. It had never been done before, so why do you think ANYONE thought it would be done before it was? The reason they did it was becuase it had never been done before.
Now, post the PDB for July 29, 1998. If you dare.
I am want to make it clear that this isn't a left-wing/right-wing issue.
But you are making it one. You condemn Bush for not being omnipotent. But then you cannot show where any man is. So instead of learning from history, you are using it to advance your left wing agenda, with no constructive goals, just a bashing of Bush. Which is fine if you are honest about it. Are you honest about it?
I know that what I say is drasticly different than what the others here are saying but thats ok.
And no one is stopping you from saying it. But you saying it now precludes our disagreement with you? Is that really mature? We are to go sit in our corners and silently nod agreement when you come here and spout your nonsense? You live a sheltered life.
