Browser Wars

Came across a strange thing I had not really noticed before ....  accessing MSNBC via IE gets different news compared to accessing via Mozilla(V3).  Anyone else come across this, or know why?  To test this I cleared all cache, zapped all temp files, got it as clean as I could, then let them both loose at the same time, both accessed at 9.31am MSNBC time.

Maybe it's cause the one on the left is "World News" and the one on the right is "Top Stories." :p

You're looking at two different pages there. If you load the same URL in both, you'll get the same page.

And maybe it's because the url's are different :)

Edit: kryo noticed it earlier..

Here's a long list from a friend I trust: http://bebi.r0x0rs.com/customize/windowblinds/

On that list I'd plug specifically VectorCell, Spring, Harmony, DogmaX and from off that list, Retro and Buzz

Of those, I suggest Athena. It's enough to make me want WindowBlinds myself. Contemplating getting it on CD.

I've already used up my trial, if I get it on CD, do I get a download copy/activation key/whatever (sue my poor memory)? Or do I just have to wait for it to arrive?

Anythign you buy from Stardock is available from Impulse (or Stardock Central).  I wouldn't buy the CD.  you are just paying extra shipping.  Get a subscription, download it, copy it to CD.  Win!!
