Is anyone else having a problem where drengin, korath and yor barely expand with colonies? I have ta v 196.027 installed. I have been playing mostly gifted on gigantic and immense but have been testing just hitting turn button and watching how each expands.  The drengin, korath and  yor seem to have most problem and usually only end up with 4-6 colonies where others have 20, 16, etc.  I noticed korx dont seem to have as much a problem.  I tried raising sensor level, didnt seem to help much. What did help was changing the personality for evil races to something else and this made a huge difference but it might cause them to become less evil.

I think I know why I caught this fro reading you guys its soething the ai I wouldn't do evil have high taxes which slows down the population they also borrow money to make ships. slowing down the population doesn't help in the beginning it should be kept to one hundred approval as long as you can. I also noticed the ai doesn't build buildings factories I would recommend for expansion. The yor has the only fleet that is bigger than the thalans though I would not recommend doing this because after you go to war you can't keep up with only 4 planets.

The latter will seem high, but bare in mind no AI ever made on the Planet, let alone likely to be made in the future, can or is ever likely to be able to compete with the human brain.

I have noticed that the yor is the only one who builds a military stronger than the thalans. I don't use hot keys. At least on dark avatar the drengin would build a super military but they couldn't fight well. In dark the Korath would build a super military and fight well. Twilight of the arnor even though some races suck theres still enough to be challenging if you have the thalans torians and the iconians
