Demigod on GameReplays.ORG!

 :CONGRAT:

Most excellent!!!!!!!

This will most definitely help the game in the long run, as it will provide a community of like minded gamers who will own the game, and be able to set up tournaments , provide insights, assistance, and help guides.

Lack of involvement with GR.org is why I feel people who bought Sins of a Solar Empire don't play online much, there is very little organization to get people together TO play together.

I am glad GPG got the ball rolling early , Demigod is ALREADY on the GR.org site, and its not even out yet!

Good job guys!

Hey lordkosc,

I'm one of the admins for the Supreme Commander section over at GameReplays.org and I'm also helping out with the Demigod section as much as I can. Call me biased, but I definitely agree that the community is key to the success of any online multiplayer game, and I would really love to see Demigod take off and become a new multiplayer phenomenon. The fact that the game is being designed around its multiplayer experience is definitely a step in the right direction.

We will certainly do everything we can to develop an active community with tournaments, expert replays, VODs, discussion etc.

Of course, to do so we need passionate people on staff to help out. The beta isn't out yet, but if anyone is interested in joining the GameReplays Demigod staff, please just drop me a PM, either here or on GR (I'm also called Poita_ on GR). Once the main beta starts we will probably be looking for more specific staff members like guide writers, shoutcasters etc. but if you feel you can help out in anyway then just let me know :)

Wow, it's nice to see someone so excited about GR  :D. I'm also an admin over there for Supcom, and like Poita_ I'll be doing what I can to help out the Demigod section. The best thing we can do now is keep people interested through discussion. Demigod looks like it could be a really great multiplayer game, and an active community is something it'll probably need to succeed.
